Axel Sverke Vindenes (1986) is the front figure and vocalist in the Bergen band Kakkmaddafakka. Since 2013, he has worked with oil on canvas, where he has had Arvid Jarle Pettersen, professor, artist and former principal of the Oslo Academy of the Arts, as master and advisor (guidance). Vindenes had his debut exhibition in August 2016. He grew up in Bergen, where he currently lives and works when he is not touring with the band. Together with the band Kakkmaddafakka, Vindenes just wanted to do a cool thing, they just wanted to make cool music. It all really boils down to wanting to challenge the pretentious and just do things that are Gledenes. "I feel that in the art world, as in the design world, the music world and in life in general, it's about being cool. But trying to be cool in itself is uncool. How can one then be cool? Yes, you have to do cool things, because you are what you do. And that's why I paint cool paintings and make cool music. ”
